i will (most likely) have my hardware removed because of an infection just 6 months post OP
they said they will put a new hardware but they will have to remove that too if the infection ckmes back, and that will make my scoliosis come back, and there wjll be nothing to do about it.
i feel incredibly unlucky and cursed and i don't know how to cope, did anyone else have similiar expwriences?

edit: i wanted to add that i already did 6 weeks of antibiotics with a underskin debriment in hospital and my back kept dropping serum after just a few weeks of being out of the hospital, them abd my surgeon believed my infection was just jnder my skin but i went to a more serious hospital that is focused specifically on the spine and they said they are convinced the jnfection is on the hardware and now i need to do exams, sorry for my english.
