Roughly half meter large chrysotile asbestos displayed in Sondrio museum. Specimen comes from Sferlún mine above Lanzada, Italy.
Some lovely Chrysotile Asbestos from abandoned Sferlún Asbestos Mine, Lanzada, Italy. Actually even the dumps are quite depleted and finding a decent asbestos piece is a challenge.
Note: Before you freak out, yes, I had respirator, gloves, eye protection and did no stupid things. Asbestos was left there.
