Sooooo, just heard something like “Hillsboro water has moderate Radon levels in the water…” UM, is that true? If so, can someone quickly give me the run down on that? Recently just read a story about a woman who was getting migraines behind her eyes, and after being told to not worry about it for awhile (women being disregarded in the medical field - topic for another day) finally ended up being diagnosed with brain cancer then eventually died. I believe the article said it might’ve been from the radon she was exposed to in her hometown (not in Hillsboro or Oregon). Anyway, as a hypochondriac, this is all I’ve been able to think about now. Are we being poisoned or..? I’d love to hear a locals input, as I haven’t been living here for too long. Hope I was misunderstanding or it’s not that big of a deal. HOPE.
