Allergy friendly grocery / co-op nearby?

Hi - we're coming next week, and my son is allergic to wheat, chicken eggs, cow dairy, and nuts. We have a unit with a full kitchen, and wondering if there is a naturals store, co-op or place we can stop within an hour (or even grocery delivery would be a bonus) that would have alternative foods like gluten-free, goat / sheep cheese/dairy-free etc? Otherwise, we'll check a cooler duct taped shut with things we need for meals.

Pothos spots?

Found these on one leaf, but have a couple other yellowing - wondering what they are? Context - have had it in my house about a month, it is still sitting in it’s initial plastic pot inside this outer one, which is just about the size of the outer one, is a little root bound and on my list to fully replant. Also, I started seeing black fungal gnats around the house although I cannot pinpoint them to any particular plant, and they have all definitely not been overwatered- if anything the soil is chronically dry the last few weeks with my schedule, and inconsistently watered. Water tends to drain through quickly. The gnats may be completely unrelated. Directly in front of a north facing window that gets medium light.

Flower seeds this late?

I ended up with two full sun southside raised beds (full of weeds now) that I didn't plant - life and needing to rip out the drip irrigation there. Are there any flower seeds I could plant this late that would be pretty? Drought resistant after the first week or two likely needed given our ability to water super regulary in July/Aug. Cuttable versions for vases a bonus but not required (ignore the other sacks)

Any issue with these peony centers?

I have two of my many peony plants, and a couple of cone flower plants that have petals coming out of the center. The yellow centers are also much more pronounced. When I googled, I didn't see anything in my search that indicated this was an issue, but my brain is thinking I read something here once that it may indicate an issue...bad memory, or something to worry about / resolve?

Your favorite bake-in-the sun flowering perennial?

Looking for any great recommendations - need to fill a 7x7 section that really bakes all day, 12 hrs of summer sun, with minimal/ no shade. Rest of the yard is whites, pinks, purples, lime greens, burgundies. I’ve been filling it with annuals each year, but would like to switch this section up to focus elsewhere. Close to the house so can water pseudo-regularly. Anything you love that has worked well for you?

This tree is...my arch nemesis

OK - I LOVE trees. They are my spirit animals (animals? arborals? you get it). I would sooner go through personal blood letting then chop a tree down. That said - this tree can't stop. Won't stop. with the volunteer shoots at the base. I snip them or saw them off 4+ times a season. I'm sure in-ground sprinklers are silently encouraging its growth. I almost want to chop him down at this point. Any ideas on how to stop the shoots at the base for good? Is there a MN Tree sub somewhere here I can't find?

Horseradish, I think? How to get it out

I moved into this house 3 planting seasons ago - I think the previous owners must have planted horseradish? Unless it grows wild somehow in yards / gardens. It is Taking. Over. Everything. I have worked to pull it two seasons, and it looks at me like “the audacity!”, and then doubles its efforts. Can anyone else verify this is horseradish? And also, methods to kill it that don’t involve round up? It’s right next to a rhubarb (taking it over too), so would love to not kill that in the process…
