Looking for facial sunscreen that doesn't make me cry?

Please help me, im not a makeup girlie. I asked my one friend who is a make up girlie for a good recommendation, she told me to get La Roche-Posay Anthelios UV Pro-Sport Sunscreen SPF 50, I shelled out $35 and am left with an eye that won't stop tearing up hours after application. I applied on my face but not around my eyes. It was fine for five hours but then my eye started watering and even after flushing and washing my face, my eye still has redness and discomfort. My previous solution has been to never apply sunscreen above my eyes, but I would dearly love a product that works. I have seen a lot of Korean sunscreens advertised as eye safe but also worry about fakes. If anyone can relate and found a product that works for you please share with me. Im tired of crying.
