Stopped by Vroman’s in Pasadena for a cookbook and discovered their fountain pen stand. The clerk was so helpful and knowledgable. It was between this Lamy dialog and a Pilot vanishing point. I love this thing, getting used to its quirks. It takes a delicate hand to not accidentally start untwisting it vs just hiding the nib. Many years to come with it
Almost paid $200 for the pair earlier this year. Bless up
I bought these a couple months ago from the same vendor at a show and idk I always had this strange feeling, mostly because I hadn’t ever seen these two up close in person in the past and it can be hard to find detailed texture patterns online. I was looking closely at the backs compared to a definitely real promo back and it almost looks like the printing is different but maybe I’m being too paranoid. Any help?
