My little Sofie turned 10 this week! She's a rescue from a backyard breeder. They estimate she was 5 when rescued and she's obviously had a lot of puppies. She had been adopted and returned to the shelter at least once (she pees inside and likes to bite ankles). She's a handful, but she's an adorable little handful.

This is popping up in an area of very random plants in front of my house. I thought it was holly bush (hey, I don't know plants!), but two apps have said live oak. Is that what it is? It's one foot from the house, so it can't stay if it's a tree.

I took a class that used lead. I was looking for more projects/patterns and keep finding ones geared towards foil. Can I use patterns for foil for lead? The amount of soldering needed for foil is daunting. The soldering is my least favorite part.
Does anyone work in lead anymore?
First bloom on my small desert willow tree. And one of my fall asters is confused - and I'm totally okay with that. All were planted last fall.
