Seeking Product Recommendations for Very Dry Skin
Hello!
Me: I am 37 years old. I have very, very dry skin genetically. I do not get oily anywhere on my face at all and have no acne. Unfortunately for my skin, I live in a very dry climate as well. I drink 3L water every day, eat a healthy diet, and exercise.
My routine:
AM:
-Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream
-Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum
I am unable to wash my face more than 1x per day due to dryness
PM:
-Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Triple AHA Gentle Cleansing Gel
-Cos de BAHA RS Retinol 2.5 Serum
- Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule
- Medicube Deep Vita C Capsule Cream
-Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream
-Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream
I've been using this routine for some time now, but lately my skin has been feeling dry and tight only a couple of hours after applying. I'm looking to add or replace products to get my skin deeply hydrated and keep it that way! I try to keep my routine fairly simple. I've found that if it gets too complex, I start slacking.
I tried using prescription Tretinoin but could not even get my skin accustomed to a once a week application at the lowest dose. I really want to keep a retinoid in my rotation for anti-aging benefits. I don't have strong signs of aging yet, and I'd like to keep it that way for as long as possible.
