Fillable Character Sheet for Basic Rules

Hey everyone!

I've been playing a lot of OSE recently. I love it. I am playing in a campaign right now and have run a few one-shots for various groups of players to spread the love of B/X era gaming. For new players (and people who have been playing a long time), usually the longest part of the process is character creation. As it goes, I think that OSE (B/X) is pretty straight forward. Where we get stuck is often which modifiers go where. With that in mind, I created and excel that automates the numbers.

With this sheet, all you have to do is fill out anything highlighted in pale yellow. The formulas will do the rest. Anything highlighted in black will appear once the requisite data is inputted into the box. Stat modifiers, saving throws, attack rolls, and THAC0 all calculate automatically based off class chosen and the corresponding level. If you have a character portrait, I moved that to the bottom of the 2nd sheet. I didn't make enough room at the top to put it there. Personally, I usually like to put it off to the side, anyway, and I like having the "Designed for Use with Old-School Essentials" there more.

Of note, there are some grammatical changes. I am from the U.S., and so spell "Armor" the rebellious way.

All information in this sheet was pulled directly from the OSE SRD hosted by Necrotic Gnome. If it was not available in that SRD, it did not get added to the sheet.

To use it, download a copy from Google Drive. There is a hidden tab labelled "Tables" should you want to add anything. Once you download it, it's yours to play with. Add classes, stats, and whatever works for your campaign.

Finally, if you have any feedback, things that could be better, things you might want to see, just let me know!

A big thanks to u/necrotic-gnome for providing an awesome way for people like me to experience the B/X era of gaming.

'96 Civic DC 2d Hatchback A/C condensor

I recently purchased a 96 Civic DX 5 speed manual. I love it. I wanted a project car and was lucky enough to find this. My first car was a 96 Civic LX automatic so finding a 96 Civic was the best feeling.

Anyway, as it was a base model, it had an optional A/C option that the original owner did not seem to go with. Fine for them, but I live in Texas. I recently bought an A/C kit from PartsGeek (linked below) and it came with a Universal A/C Condenser. I can't figure out how to install it. Does anyone have experience with this? Am I going to have to buy a separate Condenser that fits? Thanks so much for any advice!
