My standoff-ish, “I’ll snuggle close to your leg” girl climbed in my lap today and napped for at least 30 minutes.

My feet were cold, I was late to the store and I had to pee but I was NOT moving her and interrupting this moment.

My sweet Frank pictured on May 24th of this year at 4 months old and then again yesterday at 7 months old. They tell you they grow fast, and I expected it. But experiencing it is something else entirely.

He’s such a big boy now. Weighs 16 pounds and rough (not super accurate) measurements when he slept has him 33 inches long tail tip to snoot.

STOP GROWING MY SWEET BOY!

My boy has had some soft poo, off and on since we brought him home. I’d marveled at the fact that he never got any on his furry little britches.

Then yesterday happened. He had an extra soft poo, twice. It was alllll over his legs, but and feet.

Cue me having to text my coworkers to tell them I’d be late because I need to clean my cat’s butt 😂

We have a trimmer, he will be getting his britches trimmed to avoid this in the future lol

My big boy is just 6 months old and rapidly growing. I can’t express how sad I am he’s not small anymore but also how excited I am to see him grow.

He needs to stop growing. He’s 6 months old and huge lol

Has anyone used one to help calm your cat for grooming? My male lets me brush him just fine and trim his nails but my female will bite, scratch and swat as soon as the comb leaves the top of her and goes to her belly. She ends up with mats on the inside of her legs so easily and I want to get her good and brushed but no amount of churu will hold her still as soon as we get to her legs.

On that note, who has used gabapentin for light sedation for grooming? Curious about experiences with it.

My lady has some floofy beans and I love them. Can’t wait for my little guy to get older and for his bean floof to come in.

My tabby girl is 3 and a half years old. My orange boy is 4 and a half MONTHS. He’s already her size. Some Maine coons never get massive. Too many people worry that because their Maine coon isn’t gigantic means there’s something wrong.

Particularly the American lines of Maine coons tend to be on the smaller side (which I prefer, I don’t personally like the aggressive Ron Perlman face) my girl is on the more petite side for Maine coons, but she is perfectly healthy and happy. Just a lil lady.
