Tulare; We Got It!

Hopefully this rechargery will be commissioned soon! So good to see the beginnings of DC charging competition in this town. This site is much closer to my parents' than the EA, which for some reason always has a queue when I need it.

Classic

Parked in a charging spot. Not plugged in. Ample parking elsewhere. At least there was another charger.

So Efficiency; Very Range

This is Medford to Crater Lake and back to Crescent City starting at 94% SOC. No, I didn't baby it but it was slow going due to traffic at times.

Such a good roadtripper

Over the last two weeks, we have driven the car approximately 2,000 mi. It has impressed us with highway range at interstate speeds often with suboptimal wind conditions. The charging at a compatible DC charger has been fantastic. Would just don't worry about the state of charge it reaches. We just take our time at charging spots and after about 25-30 minutes, the car is almost fully charged. Obviously if there's a line I don't charge to full. The 10 mi/kwh photo is rolling down highway 108 from Pinecrest into the valley.

☀️California Grid App🔌

I have been ranting and raving about this app to anyone who will listen. It's called ISO Today. It shows you how much of instantaneous demand is being met by renewables! I like to take this into consideration when I go get a charge. First screenshot is from my 60kwh IONNA session today. Obviously, day to day, AC charging during the day from, say, 9-3 is the easier way to go about it. I'm in the somewhat uncommon situation of public charging being cheaper than electricity at home. Check out the ISO Today app, fellow Californians. CA ISO TODAY APP
