Misinformation ?

Hi!!! So a few months ago I ordered a orange tree sapling from Etsy and it came from Florida . The tree is still green but I had to prune off a good chuck because the top of the graft was browning. I called a nursery for advice and he stated that because the teee was from somewhere else ( I live in az) that it would not grow fruit or produce because of the different climate and the he said to come get an orange tree that is from az if you want it to have fruit. He said even if I keep it alive it won’t grow fruit just be a pretty tree. Is this true?? Sorry if this is dumb but I just didn’t know if I should just give up at this point because I want an orange tree that will produce

Cara cara orange tree

Hi I have had this tree for a few months and originally I put it in a hydroponic system and it did not like that so I transplanted it to this 12 inch self watering pot. It appears green and has been in this pot for 2ish weeks and I brought it inside with broad spectrum grow light as I have an east facing patio. Does this look okay? Did I kill it? I want it to continue to grow

East facing patio

I want to start a patio garden but mine is east facing is that a problem ? The little tree is a citrus tree I’m trying to salvage that I transplanted from a hydroponic system and it was not doing well in it at all so I transferred to soil . I live in phx az and want to grow veggies and herbs . Any tips or should I end up getting like a green house with a grow light . I’m trying to plan it to be successful and trying to find the best place to place my citrus tree . Help!!!

Orange tree on a patio

So I am wanting to do a patio garden and I just put my orange tree outside ( last week I transplanted it from a hydroponic system that it was not doing very well in to soil) I have an east facing patio in Arizona. I just don’t know where to put it. I’m cleaning up the patio to do a full garden. Is that even a good amount of sunlight ? Sorry I’m also wondering if I should just use a grow light outside but I don’t know any suggestions
