Question about metal cleaning with Tetrasodium EDTA

I use mostly junk steel alloy in my sculpture because it's easy to get and cheap. It's all I can afford right now. I saw tetrasodium EDTA described as a metal cleaner, and want people's opinion on its effectiveness and use on steel alloys. Right now I'm using an alloy rod, and soldering alloy spheres on it. I'll obviously need to protect the clean polished metal with some spray coating to prevent tarnish, and maybe you might have a recommendation for that. There'll be a long sturdy needle soldered onto the end of the rod for stabbing garlic inside the accompanying garlic safe. The garlic safe is a rectangular steel alloy can with many holes stabbed through its sides. It seems garlic is preserved longer without molding or sprouting when kept in a perforated vessel in a cupboard at room temperature with air circulation.

Can't figure out the specs of a set screw I need.

I'm having no luck finding the specs of a set screw I need. The one I have now is too short to use for what I want to do. It's 6mm long, about 3.75mm diameter, and from the socket end to the top of the third thread the count is 3 per 2mm. The screw I need should be 11mm long. I got these measurements following instructions online. I'm confused, and any help would be very welcome. The set screw is to secure a new flex shaft to a rotary tool The screw I have is originally made for a Foredom machine, and now I bought a replacement shaft compatible for a new flex shaft machine I bought. I need to attach it securely to the new flex shaft with the set screw. Can anyone use these measurements to tell me what set screw I should get? There was a time in the 1960s and probably later when there was a typical kind of restaurant you might remember.

I remember the restaurants my family would visit that had a certain ambience, service, and decor. On one wall there was usually a painted or wallpaper mural of a scene in Italy, and tables and booths with red and white checkered tablecloths. On the table was a kind of pineapple shaped candle covered with clear red film, and white plastic netting. If you sat at a wall booth, there'd be a jukebox on the wall, and a dime for one record play, I think. When you sat down, the waiteress would automatically bring a basket of rolls or sliced pieces of Italian bread. She'd also put glasses of iced water down for each diner, and if there was going to be salad, she'd ask, What kind of dressing do you want? We have French, Italian, Thousand Island, oil and vinegar, and the "house dressing". The waitress was a professional, and knew her job well. On her head she wore an bun, and wore a uniform, too. I don't know for sure, but I bet back then she had wages plus tips that allowed her to have her own apartment if she was single. The servings were generous, and would maybe be too much for a kid to finish, so of course there were "doggy bags" to take the leftovers home in. Does anyone have these happy memories of dining at these kinds of restaurants? Think Simeone's in Cambridge or The Newtowne Grille in Somerville both in Massachusetts. Can you name any others?

[Meta] She Knew Who Killed JFK. One Week Before She Could Prove It… Dorothy Kilgallen Was Dead. (Please read comment.)

SS: Is there evidence indicating Richard Nixon was involved in the Kennedy Assassination conspiracy? I believe I've found visual evidence in a video supporting this idea. Full video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHSkbHjdhgU&t=2498s

There are those who believe journalist Dorothy Kilgallen was murdered. At 41:38 in the video https://youtu.be/YHSkbHjdhgU?t=2498 you can see the image of a man named Ron Pataky, who was having an affair with Kilgallen during the last months of her life. Some believe Richard Nixon was part of the conspiracy to assassinate JFK, and if you look at the image of Ron Pataky at 41:38, I think he looks very much like Richard Nixon. A family affair?

On November 8, 1965, she died-possibly murdered-for the inside knowledge she had about the Kennedy Assassination and its conspirators, which she was going to soon publicize. The night of her death, the notes she had been writing about the assassination disappeared. My highlighted text is seen here is in an article about the night she died, and about Ron Pataky. https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKpataky.htm

We're still trying to learn the truth about the Kennedy Assassination. Maybe I'm seeing something others might not, but the resemblance between Pataky and Nixon is profound, and this might be evidence of Nixon's involvement. I'd love to know what you think.
