got this shirt secondhand for a good price given the shirt’s rarity, like $40. it was listed as fair condition, but the seller didn’t show the extent of the stains. i’ve scrubs the stains with dawn dish soap and baking soda, washing it with the dish soap (after letting it sit) and laundry detergent like 5 times now and the stains aren’t budging. if anything they’re more prominent cuz the rest of the shirt is so clean now 🙃 i’m worried about using bleach or hydrogen peroxide especially due to where the stains are located.

i did put it through the dryer when i first got it because from my understanding the heat from the dryer can kill potential bed bugs, and i’m paranoid about that stuff cuz i buy a lot of secondhand clothes. then tonight my dad put it in the dryer again without my knowledge 🥲 so how do i proceed from here? i’ve heard some stuff about oxygen bleach but the care tag says no bleach so idk

a bit of a meta post, but over the past couple weeks i’ve seen more posts and comments from people pushing an anti-science agenda. now i know not everyone has to agree on everything, but when these people post their half-truths and people correct them or provide more context, they always jump to personal attacks and accusations. i’ve had this happen to me and i’ve seen it happen to other users. it’s pretty clear to me that they aren’t here cuz they care about women or their trauma.

there was one of them who was literally PRO-LIFE 😭 so clearly they’re not here cuz they care about women’s autonomy. another one is claiming me and other users on this sub who have disagreed them are part of a secret cabal of doctors (i’m 24, severely chronically ill, and dropped out of college lol). another one was made a post claiming some amazonian tribe is healthier than the rest of the world, which wasn’t true at all and i left a comment with the actual facts (cuz op didn’t provide a source). after that, they deleted their post and said they planned to block me and presumably another person who questioned them, then repost it. they know what they’re saying is bs and are blatantly just trying to push an agenda onto a vulnerable group of people.

i didn’t really wanna make a post about but i feel like if we don’t start pushing back now it’s only gonna get worse. these people are coming in with ulterior motives and harassing good faith users out of a space meant for them. can something be done about this?
