Really, what more could you do to try to revive this game?
This is the peak under the most positive of circumstances, and it's.. alright? Next week is going to hit it like a bomb. Probably straight back to the 10k hover.
It’s too widespread and came on way too fast. There is also a massive difference between how people online view AI versus IRL, where most are using it or don't care at all.
We already know Russia used troll farms to force outrage and influence Western elections. Now that the AI race is the massive focus of countries like China, it is not farfetched to think they are doing the same thing. It costs them almost nothing to fuel anti ai narratives, and if they can stall data centers development or force regulations, it will be a massive boon.
It just all feels pretty manufactured.
