Does this stray cat have a home? (Cambrian Point // Cathays)

Hello, this cat has been wandering around near my accommodation since I’ve moved in last September. Normally, it would run away when I get close to it. However yesterday evening, I found it curled up near the laundry room out in the cold (picture 1). When I walked up to it, it doesn’t seem scared and didn’t run away. I found the cat sunbathing by the laundry room the next day (picture 2), even let me get a few pets in, very cute. Just wondering if this cat has an owner?

A bit lost as a first-year CS student, need advice

I just finished my first year studying computer science in the UK. I’m planning to do a placement year so I will need to start looking for one very soon as applications are already opening. I’m looking into SWE or maybe game development but I know that isn’t the best sector to get into at the moment.

My CV isn’t the best compared to my peers, my projects basically consist of: 3 roblox games with over 1.6M+ visits combined (not sure if that would bat any recruiters’ eyes), a hackathon project (web dev) that didn’t win (5th out of 20+ teams), another hackathon project (game dev) that ended up getting 1st place but it wasn’t my best work. I also hold 2 AWS certifications, AI practitioner and Associate Solutions Architect, if that helps. I’m working on COMPTIA Security+ now to get my foot in the door for anything related to cybersecurity. Maybe I should work on a project related to cybersecurity during the summer?

My peers are absolutely cracked with crazy projects and experience (I may be exaggerating) and I really want to secure a placement so I’m asking for any advice that could make me more competitive over the summer before I start applying seriously.

Looking for feedback for my game

Looking for feedback for my game mainly to improve playtime and retention. It’s been up for a while, peaked 150CCU a few months back but dropped to single digits due to the lack of updates. I just pushed out an update mainly for bug fixes a few days ago. Stats improved a bit but still bad.

Current stats (7-day avg):

Avg Playtime: 7.6 mins

Day 1 Retention: 6.06%

Day 7 Retention: 0.54%

Payer Conversion Rate: 0%

Avg Rev/ Paying User: 0

Qualified Play Through Rate: 1.1%
