What is or isn’t needed at the 100k service?

Took my 2021 Passport to the dealership today for an oil change, transmission fluid change, and tire rotation. I have rough 5k miles to go before I hit 100k. They of course gave a little spiel about their 100k service and what it included. Then they told me the price of $2450. I cannot afford that. Should I just get the timing belt changed at 100k and call it good? Do I need anything else done?

What repayment plan would make most sense for me?

I need to switch to a different repayment plan, but not sure what the best options would be. My finances changed at the end of June with the loss of my full-time job, but I did find a new part-time job early July! I sadly went from making about $35k/year to only $14/hr. Since my hours will be fluctuating, I don't even know how much I will make each month/year.

Loan details:

  • Servicer: Nelnet
  • Total Balance: $50,224.10 (this includes unpaid interest)
  • Loans are a mix of subsidized and unsubsidized
  • Interest rates range from 2.75% to 5.05%
  • Current repayment plan: SAVE forbearance
  • I have been making payments when I can while on forbearance and plan to continue making extra payments when possible after switching repayment plans

I used the calculator on studentaid.gov with a guess of my AGI (I put in $20k) it gave me the following:

  • IBR: $0 monthly payment, $0 total to be paid, $0 principal paid, $0 interest paid, $95,264 ending of payment balance
  • RAP: $17 monthly payment, $27,558 total to be paid, $553 principal paid, $27,005 interest paid, $34,002 ending of payment balance
  • Extended Graduated: $179-59 monthly payment, $87,010 total to be paid, $50,224 principal paid, $36,786 interest paid, $0 ending of payment balance
  • Extended Fixed: $278 monthly payment, $80,202 total to be paid, $50,225 principal paid, $29,977 interest paid, $0 ending of payment balance
  • Graduated: $330-991 monthly payment, $63,011 total to be paid, $50,224 principal paid, $12,787 interest paid, $0 ending of payment balance
  • Standard: $556 monthly payment, $60,599 total to be paid, $50,225 principal paid, $10,375 interest paid, $0 ending of payment balance

I have no clue what would be in my best interest... I know I definitely can't afford more than $200/month right now.

Need some advice on a logo project

My cousin-in-law works at a non-profit that works with disabled adults. They're starting up another non-profit, called Wagging Ways, to help raise money for the original non-profit. It will also provide work training to the disabled adults while rescuing, caring for, rehabilitating/fostering, and adopting out dogs.

She originally made a logo using AI... She really liked it, but her coworkers, not so much. I shared their sentiments after I saw it. She then had their marketing person try and play around with it and come up with some other options, which aren't so great either.

They then had a well-known marketing agency donate some of their time to come up with something. What they came up with looks good, but is more of an illustration. My cousin-in-law and her coworkers also said it wasn't what they we're looking for.

My cousin-in-law decided to contact me for help. They like the fonts and colors the marketing agency used, but she is still hung on the idea of everything being in a circle like the original AI logo.

I started playing around with some ideas, but as you can see i'm struggling! They really wanted to have the logo represent people with disabilities and dogs. A bus being included is a plus, because the main non-profit has buses that drive the disabled adults places.

I won't show them any of what I created so far. I want to design some more and hopefully make some options that are a lot better!

What's the best way to get her to realize that shoving everything they want into a circle isn't the best idea, especially when it comes to scalability? I have a feeling she will fight on this and I don't want to spend too much time, since they're only paying me $200.

Do any of my ideas have potential? Any other thoughts? I'm open to all advice if it isn't too harsh. I haven't designed a logo in a while so i'm a bit rusty and i'm really struggling with what they want. I don't want it to be too busy and I believe something simpler would be better, but again I have a feeling my cousin-in-law will hate the simple options...
