just another diva DOWN because the dating apps have humbled me enough. so here's my craigslist ad for a boyfriend.
i'm 22, based in the northern suburbs around tygervalley, currently finishing my honours in genetics and starting my master's next year. very much a STEM girl and genuinely love what i do, so unfortunately you will probably have to listen to me talk about forensic genetics and drilling into bones at some point.
i'm looking for a unit who's christian, around 22–26, based in cape town (preferably the northern suburbs), who could theoretically carry me out of a burning building and is passionate about what he's doing with his life. i really like someone with his own ambitions who actually cares about what he's doing.
i'm the type of person who wants to do anything and everything. i like the gym, coffee, thrifting, making pottery, making silver jewellery, and i'm currently very keen on climbing, hiking, camping, and generally getting outside and touching some grass. i'm partially a homebody against my will, so i'd love someone who gives me a reason to actually leave the house and go experience things.
i'm not really looking for a gamer boy whose ideal saturday is 14 hours in front of a pc, i'd much rather have someone who wants to go do things with me, whether that's a hike, finding a cute coffee shop, trying something new, or just wandering around somewhere and talking for hours.
mostly, i'm just looking for someone kind, curious, emotionally mature, and intentional. someone who knows what he wants, even if he doesn't have his entire life figured out yet.
anyway, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take so maybe i'll meet someone, maybe i'll make a friend, maybe this will be deeply embarrassing and i'll delete it in 48 hours and pretend it never happened.
