Going completely screenless

I'm looking to completely without screens for a while. I was thinking maybe a week to start. I wanted to know if there are any tips or any places where I should make compromises. I still want to keep in touch with my friends during this time and I'm not exactly sure how I should go about doing that when I would rather just leave my phone and laptop behind.

For context I have a laptop and a dumbphone that still has minimal access to apps (think like my bank app, e-reader, uber). I currently find myself spending a lot less time on my phone than when I got a smart phone, but still click it open to check for notifications way more than I should and reading e-books much more than I want like as soon as I wake up and go to bed. When I am home I tend to be on my laptop scrolling things like reddit, or playing video games that are honestly just such wastes of time. I use cold turkey as well to block things but the internet is endless and my time is finite. It's eating up my days and I have a lot of goals I want to accomplish.

So to anyone who has gone screen free for a long period of time, what tips do you have?

Experiences with radical reduction and keeping nipples fully intact(non-FNG)

Hey folks,

I'm am trying to get a radical reduction while keeping my nipples intact. I'm 5'9" and I would be going from I think a 36D to a large A or small B according to my surgeon. I have asked him to do all he can to keep my nipples intact and avoid FNG if possible. He said he will try but with radical reductions you tend to be removing so much tissue that there is more of a chance for the nipples to lose blood during the surgery and need to opt for FNG instead. When I asked around what the chances on that are losing them he kept saying there isn't really information on that and the chances are unknown.

It's not that I'm terrified by FNG and want to avoid it at all cost. I would prefer to keep my nipples intact because I know sensation is not guaranteed with FNG. But if I knew the chances of losing them in the first place were like 70% I would probably just go fuck that and tell him to go smaller if he can and just do the FNG. So what I'm wondering is what are people's experiences with going down this many cup sizes and whether or not they were able to keep their nipples fully intact vs needing to get FNG.

Thanks :)

Help understanding what I should be feeling(or not) during first week of transition

TLDR at bottom because I do love to just keep typing.

Hey there, I just started my transition to barefoot shoes a week or so ago and I just want to know if other people felt this during their transition or not. I've been wearing my barefoot shoes to work at this point, and though I work an active job I am probably only on my feet a total of 4 hours out of 8 a day due to many opportunities for breaks. I also am a person who is barefoot as much as possible at home.

First, the bottoms of my feet are a tad sore by the end of the day. I was recently on a vacation where I was walking like 15+ miles a day and my feet would ache by the time I got 5 miles in(this was all in normal New Balance shoes). Anyway, it was all the parts of my foot on the very bottom that were aching, like the ones that make contact with the ground. With my current usage of my barefoot shoes (3 to 7 hours a day) should my feet hurt at the bottom. They don't ache like crazy like the did on the trip, I just want to know if it is normal for that part of your foot to be in pain as you adjust to no cushioning.

Also, I don't feel anything in my calves when I am wearing barefoot shoes, but I do feel it in my shins. As soon as I feel any pain in my shins I stop wearing my barefoot shoes asap because I know shins are something you don't want to mess with.

I just don't want to make a mistake with transition. I know you should take it slow, but I can't tell if my foot pains are just part of the transition and I should keep wearing them or if I need to be more cautious. I am finding a surprising lack of transition information other than which shoes to pick. Any info is appreciated and I would love some non-youtube foot workout info if anyone has some good ones. Thanks!

TLDR: Is it normal for the bottoms of your feet(the parts that make contact with the ground) to feel a tad during your first week of transition? What about pain in shins?
