Leviton devices suddenly unreliable in Alexa after firmware update — anyone else?

I have a fairly large smart-home setup using Leviton Decora Smart switches, dimmers, fan controllers, etc. Everything had been working reliably with Alexa until Leviton recently pushed firmware updates to the devices.
Since the firmware updates, Alexa control has become a mess.
What’s strange:
● All of the devices still work correctly in the My Leviton app.
● They also still work in Apple Home/HomeKit.
● The physical switches work normally.
● Alexa still discovers the Leviton devices through the My Leviton skill.
● Alexa will frequently say a device is unresponsive.
● Voice commands often fail.
● Even tapping On/Off directly in the Alexa app is intermittent — sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
● This started after the Leviton firmware updates.
Things I’ve already tried:
● Disabled and re-enabled the My Leviton Alexa skill.
● Deleted individual Leviton devices from Alexa and rediscovered them.
● Signed out/in of the Alexa app.
● Confirmed there aren’t duplicate devices/naming conflicts.
● Confirmed the device names Alexa hears are correct.
● Restarted Alexa devices.
● Amazon support did some type of Alexa account/app refresh on their end.
● Submitted Alexa diagnostic feedback/logs at Amazon support’s request.
My Wi-Fi is an eero Wi-Fi 7 mesh system with four units and excellent coverage, and since My Leviton and Apple Home continue to control these same devices normally, this doesn’t seem like the switches are dropping off my network.
Amazon support eventually suggested that this could be related to the recent Leviton firmware update and some kind of cloud/integration synchronization issue. I’m also going to contact Leviton.
Has anyone else with Leviton Decora Smart + Alexa had this happen after a recent firmware update?
If so, did it eventually resolve itself, did Leviton/Amazon have to fix something server-side, or did you find a way to force Alexa to refresh the devices properly?
I have a lot of Leviton devices, so I’m trying very hard not to factory-reset/remove everything and rebuild my entire smart home unless that’s absolutely necessary.
