degree vs job experience

I have a degree in computer science - haven't really used it too much. Currently work for a car company with limited experience in thermodynamics, aerodynamics, and validation. Looking for some insider intel - government jobs is a new world to me. Is degree more important than experience? I dont meet all of the requirement for the mechanical/aerospace jobs just based on the classes I took, but I have experience in them. Would answering 'No' on my application automatically put me out of the running. Thanks

Automotive/Engineering Jobs

Thinking about moving to louisville area - i'd be coming with all automotive experience (corporate). Are there a lot of good engineering companies within an hour span on louisville? I'd even consider defense companies. I've looked it up online and didnt find a whole lot. Should I be looking in different cities?

Automotive experience

Hello all! I have a compsci degree but have worked mainly in a mechanical field -currently in aero. All my experience is automotive but id love to get into other industries. I applied to a few positions specifically at the lexington KY location. I have heard that its fairly difficult to get into lockheed - I also have 0 defense experience and would love to stay in a mechanical related role. Any tips for applying? I am not sure I have much of a shot just speaking to my background. Is getting into lockheed more about who you know at the company rather than what your experience is? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Cat litter box issues - please help!!

Seeking any advice at all!!

I rescued my cat when he was a few months old and ever since he has had problems using the litter box. He only poops outside of the box usually when im sleeping (i have my bedroom door closed so its kind of like im not there) or when I leave the house to go to work. Sometimes he uses the litter box and is completely fine. I have tried cleaning the litter box twice a day - I have 2 cats and 2 litter boxes. The litter box is open and I have moved it in different locations. His stool is not always solid but thats been something pretty consistent since he was a kitten. I have taken him to the vet numerous times to get him checked out and they say there is nothing wrong with him. I am not sure if he has anxiety or the equivalent of IBS for cats? Maybe behavioral issues or he just got used to using the bathroom outside and then i rescued him? I have no idea - any advice is appreciated! Really hate finding poo in my basement just about everyday.
