Acceptance at Ohio State University

Hello, I'm curious to see if anyone who obtained their MSW at Ohio State or is currently enrolled or at least has been accepted can tell me roughly how long it takes to hear back? Tomorrow will be 6 weeks since my application was finalized (final recommendation letter was submitted 7/8). Obviously the anticipation is killing me, but I also need to know if I should apply elsewhere and that means asking additional people for recommendation letters. I finish my bachelors in December and want to go straight into OSU for my masters starting in the Spring semester, and if for some reason I am not accepted I still need time to apply to other schools and give them time for their review process. I've read 6-8 weeks online is the average time frame but I'm curious to see if anyone has applied as early as I have and still heard back within that time or if it was a longer wait because the bulk of spring applications haven't came in yet? Also, is it an email or do they mail out a letter? I'm not sure where I should be checking over the next few weeks! Thanks!

MSW application process

Hello everyone, I am starting my second to last semester of my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am wanting to apply at Ohio State University for my Masters in Social Work at the end of June probably so that I can start in January directly after graduating after the fall term. For the application I need 3 letters of recommendation and have 1 already from my professor in Research Writing. This semester (summer term) I am enrolled in Theories of Counseling, Applied Research Methods, Communication Ethics, Principles of Motivation and Intro to Cognitive Psychology. I'm debating which other two professors I should ask to showcase my skills as they apply to Social work. Obviously grades matter, but I have been an honors student since the first semester of my associates and not really concerned about that. I haven't worked in over 3 years, I am a full-time student and stay at home mom so all letters will need to come from Professors. I'm thinking because one letter is from a research related class already I should ask my professor for Communication Ethics and either Principles of Motivation or Theories of Counseling. But I could also see using my Applied Research Methods teacher as well to really emphasize my experience with research.

Any insight is appreciated!
