Fuck you Cherelle

Honestly, fuck you. This is absolutely ridiculous. I went to schuylkill River park at 8 pm to picnic for the fireworks. Was it early? Yes. But I wanted to relax and watch the fireworks. I was sitting outside in the rain for over an hour with an umbrella because I thought the fireworks were gonna be at midnight. I gave it an extra hour and a half and still no fireworks. Ended up going home. Got wet for nothing. I get you spent and extra $15m for no reason, but you could have least had the fireworks go off on time. 2:45 is absolutely ridiculous. Especially when the original time was 8pm, then moved to 12pm. My tax money went towards you ego jerk off party and I didn't even get to see the fireworks because it was THREE HOURS LATE!!! Fuck you Cherelle. I'm sure you suburban buddies love you, but everyone that actually lives in the city hates your guts. Get fucked.

Edit: I was pretty drunk when I wrote this last night, so that's why it's a little ranty. just to be clear, I'm not mad it rained. I was expecting it. I went to the park to have a picnic before the fireworks and I knew it was going to rain. that's my fault/choice. what I AM pissed about is that Cherelle had access to the weather reports and didn't do anything. both with cancelling the parade last minute and the fact that fireworks were supposed to be at 12 and it stopped raining at 11:30, but they were pushed back 3 hours. even that doesn't really piss me off too much. what really pisses me off is how much extra of our tax dollars she spent on this and it still went like that. and really, this isn't even about the fireworks. it's just a rant about how she treats the people that live in the city and how our country has disappointed me in so many ways. this was just something that I could complain about. thanks for reading haha.

Mitra Bros Kratom Review

I was given a sample for free, but this review will be completely honest.

Taste: the taste was very mild. Some of the least bitter stuff I have tried. Almost tasteless. But it also was not as fresh as some other higher end places. Totally fine to me, but I know some people care about that.

Texture: the texture was super fine. Might be the finest powder I've ever tried. It basically dissolved into water. Super impressive.

Effects: its kratom haha. It did its job, but didn't blow me away. The strength is probably around 1.8% which is standard "high strength" powder. I will say it felt "cleaner" for lack of a better term. Enjoyable and did what I need it to do.

Packaging: the bag it came in was pretty nice. It looks very professional and is decent quality. Average, but nice.

Price: the price is also pretty average. It's honestly a good value since (in my opinion) it is a pretty high quality powder, but is priced similarly to some cheaper stuff. Especially if there is a sale, I'll be picking up a few kilos.

Shipping: I ordered on a Monday afternoon and it arrived on Saturday. Free shipping so I'm not complaining. I'm also on the east coast of the US and this is coming from California, so about as expected.

Conclusion: I would give it a try. It seems to be in the high end range for quality and pretty average price. Cheaper than some other places. Ill personally be keeping my eye out for any sales and grabbing some at some point.

Opinions on renaming Marconi plaza?

I've been thinking about this for a while and wanted to see public opinion. If you don't know, Guglielmo Marconi was a Nazi and white supremacist. The reason we have a plaza named after him is because of the work he did on radios and telegraphs. But I really don't think he deserves the plaza named after him. Being a literal Nazi kinda overshadows his accomplishments. And on top of that, we still have the Columbus Statue up. Basically "white supremacy park".

Anyway, am I alone here? Would a rename of the park be something you would support? Or do you think it doesn't really matter?
