I have had NDPH since 2023. I recently moved to TX and previously my neuros had just been trying different things to kinda see what sticks, but the neuro who initially diagnosed me didn't really know much about NDPH or what to do with me as a patient and I am trying to avoid more of that. I am willing to drive for someone who is good and knowledgable.

So I have loans under the old IBR and I am working towards PSLF.

When I logged on to recertify income and look at options it showed PAYE as an option with a lower monthly payment by like 26$. So I thought about switching and taking advantage but then on aidvantage it says “if you are currently in the IBR plan and want to leave the plan, you may not change to a different plan until you’ve made at least one payment under the standard repayment plan or a reduced payment forbearance.

Is it worth it to have to deal with that and then possibly again when PAYE sunsets? My loans are a little under 30,000 rn.
