Outbreak London

If anyone still wants to buy two tickets to outbreak London, I have two which I am happy to do a cheaper deal for! I am heavily pregnant and will be about to pop so sadly can’t attend, but the insurance won’t give me a refund!

Air con

Seriously, where can I buy and air con? When and where will they come back into stock? I’ve been trying since before the heat wave and am so worried due to the next one allegedly on the way! I’m 31 weeks pregnant and really struggled with the last one.

Driving third trimester

Is anyone else super scared of driving in their third trimester? Any tips on overcoming it? I feel like I’ve come so far I’m so worried something bad will happen.

I’ve always been quite an anxious driver as I’m quite new to driving (4 years) and I have to drive to work an hour each way.

I’ve brought blind spot mirrors so I don’t have to lean forward and adjusted my seat as high and far back as possible. I just find the M1 and M25 so scary!

Time off before maternity

I wanted to take a month off before I go on maternity so that I could decompress before birth. I have a really stressful job and am having a difficult time with my supervisor right now. I’ve now asked to move my maternity leave two weeks forward and so I would be off for 6 weeks before having a baby. Is that a bit too self indulgent? I could carry my annual leave to use after the baby is here, I just don’t think I can cope much longer at work!

26 weeks and pregnant with a cold in a heat wave

I’ve caught a cold off my husband and this is the most awful I’ve felt in a long time. Every time I cough I throw up, my gag reflex is so sensitive whilst I’m pregnant. It also doesn’t help being in this heat wave! Any tips to help me get over this quicker?

I’ve just sent husband off to get some manuka honey and cloudy lemonade!

First time mum/pregnancy advise

I am a first time mum, currently 25 weeks pregnant and have been trying for a baby for about 5 years. I’ve suffered a miscarriage before and so never really let myself feel excited about this pregnancy. I am now feeling really excited and now I can feel my son kicking every day it’s starting to feel really real! Now I’m feeling like this is so real and I’m going to be a mum soon.

does anyone have any advise in relation to being a first time mum/first birth? any parenting advice they can give?
