How screwed am I?

This how was built in 1925. We just moved in a few years ago. This just don’t look right. I am happy to get a roofer in the fix these 2 split and 1 drilled? But I’d love to know how scary this actually is and how much it should cost to fix in a suburb of Chicago. Any expertise would be MUCH appreciated!

Any bright ideas on how to fix this?

I really have no idea how to fix this. My thought was perhaps sprays foam as a cheap and resilient support then put a new 1/4” oak project panel on top then find the leak, which I think is actually above though it’s really not clear. I don’t know though. I’m at a lose. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

My air conditioning unit has mystery corrosion

This is too bizarre! I live outside of Chicago and this was not like this last summer when I cleaned this thing last. It's just the one corner and whatever it was has completely disintegrated the fine metal filter.

I uploaded it to a Google reverse image search and the ai overview said that I should keep my dog away from my ac unit because their pee can do this but we don't have a dog and our back yard is completely fenced in. What wild animal would lift their leg like this anyway? I know we have skunks around. Could that be the culprit? Would this happen with just one piss or would this have to be a consistent habitual thing to get this bad?

How many more years can I get out of this unit with this kind of damage. Should | just keep running it as usual until it fails or is this dangerous somehow?
