Two Victron Orion XS chargers on one battery problem.
Hi, I setup two Victron Orion XS 50 amp chargers onto one big 280AH lifepo4. According to specs on the battery they say it can handle up to 160 amps of charging. My alternator and engine bay wiring upgraded to 240 amp high output. All wiring in system carefully calculated to the correct gauge and fusing. However...! the chargers max out around 60 amps total and refuse to go higher. I can have one running at 50, the other at 10. Both at 30, etc, etc... total maxed out at 60 amps no matter what. They just wont go any higher. I dont plan on pushing the full 100 amps as it would stress my alternator too much. Ideally I could get up to 70 or 80 total. Ive heard of others having a similar issue with two of these chargers in tandem. Has anyone figured out how to fix this? Settings in the charger? Maybe my battery is just taking all that it possibly can and refuses to charge higher? Thanks, any input appreciated.
