Palestinian student admitted/aspiring to Polimi — looking for advice or possible financial support

Hi everyone,
I’m Mohammad, a Palestinian student from Hebron, Palestine.
I graduated from high school (Scientific Stream) in 2018 with a 97.4% average. Unfortunately, due to difficult circumstances over the past years, I was not able to continue my university education, even though studying at a good university has always been one of my biggest goals.
I’m currently trying to find a way to study at Politecnico di Milano, and I’m doing everything I can to make this possible. I’ve been looking into scholarships, financial aid, and any opportunities available to international students.
The biggest obstacle for me is financial. Coming from Palestine and from a family with limited financial resources, paying international tuition and living expenses in Italy is extremely difficult for me. The situation in the region has also made things considerably harder.
I’m not asking anyone to simply fund my education. I’m mainly hoping that someone here might know about:
Scholarships or grants I may have missed
Financial aid opportunities for international students at Polimi
External organizations that support students from difficult circumstances
Alumni or current students who have gone through a similar situation
Any practical advice on how I could make studying at Polimi financially possible
I’ve worked hard academically and I’m genuinely determined to continue my education. I’m willing to do whatever is required, but right now I need to find a realistic financial path.
If you’re a Polimi student, alumnus, or simply know someone who might be able to guide me, even a small piece of advice could make a huge difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

I’m a Palestinian student who never gave up on his dream of studying — I’m looking for advice or an opportunity

Hello everyone,
I’m a Palestinian from Hebron, and I’m writing this because I honestly don’t know where else to turn.
I graduated from high school (Scientific Stream) in 2018 with a 97.4% average. I always wanted to continue my education and study engineering, especially Industrial Engineering, but unfortunately, I was not able to start or complete university because of difficult financial and personal circumstances.
Years have passed, but I still haven’t given up on this dream.
I’m now trying again to find a way to study for a bachelor’s degree abroad, preferably in English. I’m looking for a fully funded scholarship that could cover tuition and, if possible, accommodation and living expenses.
Being Palestinian has also made my situation more complicated. The circumstances in my country have made education, travel, finances, and planning for the future extremely difficult. I’m not looking for someone to simply give me money — I’m looking for an opportunity, advice, a scholarship, a university, an organization, or even someone who knows where I should start.
I have the motivation to study and I’m willing to work extremely hard. I just need someone to point me toward a realistic opportunity.
If you know of:
Fully funded bachelor’s scholarships for international/Palestinian students
Universities that offer significant financial aid
Organizations that support students from conflict-affected areas
Universities that may consider students with a non-traditional education timeline
Any other possible path to study Industrial Engineering abroad
I would genuinely appreciate your advice.
I know that 2018 was a long time ago, and I know my situation may not fit the usual scholarship profile. But I still believe that it’s not too late to start.
If you’ve been in a similar situation, or you know someone who has, please tell me how you managed to find a way forward.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
