ISEEU PARIFICATO no reply!
I applied for the ISEEU PARIFICATO scholarship and submitted the last document on August 5th. I have never received a reply from CGIL. Is this normal?

I’ve already uploaded all the necessary documents for enrolment exempt CIMEA verification because deadline for that is 30th October and I still haven’t managed to catch the payment slot. I have been waiting for like a month but the enrolment is still incomplete. Can it be completed without CIMEA? If not then why is the deadline after the beginning of academic year? Am I missing something when my enrolment is still incomplete?
I am a huge football fan supporting FC Barcelona and Arsenal. I am looking for fellow fans of any club who are studying in Politecnico di Milano or going to study this year in Milan. I am planning to go pubs and other spots in Central Milan which telecast football watch alongs every weekend. I am also planning to go for Milan derbies, and if planned visit other italian cities like Como or Turin for Serie A/UCL matches. Please let me know if any existing community or group is there.
Hi everyone,
I’m Mohammad, a Palestinian student from Hebron, Palestine.
I graduated from high school (Scientific Stream) in 2018 with a 97.4% average. Unfortunately, due to difficult circumstances over the past years, I was not able to continue my university education, even though studying at a good university has always been one of my biggest goals.
I’m currently trying to find a way to study at Politecnico di Milano, and I’m doing everything I can to make this possible. I’ve been looking into scholarships, financial aid, and any opportunities available to international students.
The biggest obstacle for me is financial. Coming from Palestine and from a family with limited financial resources, paying international tuition and living expenses in Italy is extremely difficult for me. The situation in the region has also made things considerably harder.
I’m not asking anyone to simply fund my education. I’m mainly hoping that someone here might know about:
Scholarships or grants I may have missed
Financial aid opportunities for international students at Polimi
External organizations that support students from difficult circumstances
Alumni or current students who have gone through a similar situation
Any practical advice on how I could make studying at Polimi financially possible
I’ve worked hard academically and I’m genuinely determined to continue my education. I’m willing to do whatever is required, but right now I need to find a realistic financial path.
If you’re a Polimi student, alumnus, or simply know someone who might be able to guide me, even a small piece of advice could make a huge difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
Hello everyone! I just wanted to know if anyone is pursuing this particular program and could give me some insight or share anything I should know about it. I’m in my final year of a BSc in Biotechnology and I live in Italy. I couldn’t find much information about this program, so I thought I’d ask here. I’d really appreciate it if someone could help!
Hi,
Could anyone explain what the advantages are of registering your SAT score before the 31st of august? is that only for early entry phases? Could I still take the SAT and register later next year. I am applying for mechanical engineering for 2027. Also, what is a safe SAT score to get in??
Ciao a tutti!
Grazie mille a chi partecipa!
Hi everyone,
I’m an incoming non-EU master’s student at Politecnico di Milano, and I’m currently looking for accommodation in Italy.
I found an apartment that I’m interested in, but the agency told me:
“Nell’appartamento non è possibile trasferire la residenza.”
From what I understand, this means that I cannot register my official residenza at that address. However, I would have a regular rental contract and would be living there.
My question is: Is it possible to use this apartment/rental contract as proof of accommodation for the student permesso di soggiorno**, even if I cannot register my** residenza there?
Do non-EU students generally need residenza, or is a domicilio / rental contract sufficient for the permesso di soggiorno?
I’ve found some information suggesting that accommodation can be proved through a rental contract or dichiarazione di ospitalità, but I’d really appreciate hearing from students who have actually gone through the process, especially in Milan.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m starting a Master’s degree at Politecnico di Milano in 2026/27 and I have been awarded a MAECI scholarship.
I’m trying to understand whether MAECI scholarship holders are exempt from paying the Polimi tuition fee.
On Polimi’s 2026/27 tuition exemption page, under “International students with a scholarship (exemption 100%)”, it says that non-EU Master’s students with a first-level qualification obtained abroad who have a scholarship from Polimi or other institutions are exempt from the all-inclusive contribution.
Does MAECI count as one of these “other institutions” scholarships?
If anyone is a MAECI scholarship holder at Polimi (especially for 2026/27), could you confirm whether you only have to pay the regional tax/other administrative fees, or if you still have to pay any tuition?
Thanks!
i’m confused about this whole process. so we have to submit the application on Universitaly and wait for them to go through it first? basically, do I have to wait until they validate my application and send my information to the consulate before I can submit all my documents for the visa, or can I do that right now? i’m so lost and it’s already middle of august, please someone help
Hi everyone! I’m an extra-EU student who will be studying at Politecnico di Milano, and I have a question regarding the required documents.
Could someone please clarify whether we need both the Dichiarazione di Valore (DOV) and the CIMEA document, or if one of the two is sufficient?
I’ve found some information, but I’m still not completely sure and would really appreciate confirmation from someone who has already gone through the process.
Thank you!
Hi everyone,
I'm an international student from India and I'm in a bit of a dilemma.
I already have admission to Politecnico di Milano (Automation & Control Engineering) and my planned travel date is 11 September. I've already been preparing for Italy and was focused on moving there.
However, I just received an unconditional admit from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg for Autonomous Technologies.
My situation:
The reason FAU is tempting is that:
My concern is that if I go to Italy, I'll need to invest time learning Italian and building my career there, while Germany has always been my preferred long-term destination.
At the same time, it feels very risky to abandon a nearly finalized Italy plan and start the German visa process this late.
So I'd love some honest opinions from people who have studied/worked in either country:
I'm trying to figure out whether this is a missed opportunity or just FOMO because the German admit arrived so late.
Thanks in advance. 🙏
okay i used ai for this cause me no have time im stressed AF 🥲
Hello, I want to ask if omitting or hiding assets to obtain dsu scholarship can be risky or not?
Profile : International Applicant with interest in full taught English program.
So I'm planning to use the SAT alternative test for admission and I'm planning to take the test on September 12 2026. As I'm late for the early admission, so I will be using the standard or regular process. On the official website the cutoff for 2027/2028 is on 31 August of 2026. Will the regular track have a later cutoff date for SAT? so that the test I will take on September 12 be useful for this.
Thank you!
How long did it take to get your ISEEU done by caaf? I submitted all of my documents on the 24.07 and still the status is grey...
Hi everyone,
I’m a new student at Polimi and I've been having this notification on my Online Services account saying that I haven’t yet obtained a valid certificate for the Safety Courses, and that this may prevent access to certain activities/services, such as registering for exams.
When I go to the Training Courses section, I can see the list of courses available.
My question is: Do we actually have to complete all courses, or are there only certain ones that are mandatory for students? How many do we need to complete for this warning/notification to disappear?
Also, I noticed that some of the courses seem to be in Italian. What are we supposed to do if we don’t speak Italian? Is there an English version available, or are those courses not required for international students?
Would really appreciate it if someone who has already dealt with this could clarify. Thanks!
Hey everyone
I recently got into PoliTO's MSc Physics of Complex Systems program (and the Quantum Engineering program), and the Mathematical Engineering MSc at PoliMI (in the Quantum Engineering path).
I'm really aiming to be a theoretical/mathematical physicist, with interests in Quantum Many-Body Physics and Quantum Information Theory. I really like the math part of the PoliMI program, however I find the physics courses to be quite lacking unfortunately.
I've been told however that PoliMI is pretty much the best out there in Italy, and PoliTO would be a significant downgrade.
I wanted other opinions on the topic😅, and would be very grateful to get any input.
Thank you.
