Me and my boyfriend found this strange skeleton (it was a bit more scattered but we put the pieces together how they were laying around) washed up on a southern Icelandic beach while on a walk. This beach is known for fishing due to its depth.

We cleaned it up a bit and added some dead pieces of crab we found laying around near it. (We assume it is its main food source)

Do you guys have any clue what this skeleton could be from? Iceland has very dark and deep oceans which aren’t very documented, so it’s pretty common to come across washed up parts that haven’t been seen before.
