Great shows in Cleveland but why all the repeats?

Great shows in Cleveland but why the repeats?

I had the time of my life on Friday. Opening 2nd Thoughts, 43, Big Brother, Never Let It Go, and they sounded great. Felt like a kid again. Was really liking forward to Saturday because they had advertised 2 completely different sets. So I really don't get why 2/3 of Saturday were repeats. Especially when there were so many songs they've played that they didn't play either night. No Born of Desire, Crazy, The Dream is Over, Along the Way. I don't get why they would specifically advertise two different sets and then repeat most of the songs from the first night, especially when there are songs they've played at other shows that got completely skipped in Cleveland.

Jake leaves Umphreys

Just got the email that Jake is leaving Umphreys. Very sad day.

"Over the past few months, we’ve been supporting our brother Jake as he navigates a necessary leave of absence. Today, Jake informed us that he has made the incredibly difficult decision to begin a new chapter in his life and step away from Umphrey’s McGee.

While we are deeply saddened to see him go, we are eternally grateful for everything he has brought to this band over the years. His musical voice, creativity, and passion have helped shape Umphrey’s McGee since the early days, and the memories we’ve made together—both on and off the stage—will stay with us forever.

We know this news will be emotional for many of you, and it is for us as well. We hope you’ll join us in thanking Jake for all that he has given to this band, our music, and this incredible community. We wish him nothing but happiness and success.

As we look ahead, we remain fully dedicated to honoring the music we've all built together. Thank you for your endless grace, love, and support for both us and Jake during this transition. We'll see you out on the road as we continue writing the next chapter together.

Much Love,

Umphrey's McGee"

Switched from 2k21 on Switch to 2k23 on PS4. Can't figure out the swing stick at all.

I recently purchased 2k23 for the PS4 after playing 2k21 on the Switch off and on for the past few years. Had no issues with the swing stick using a Pro Controller on Pro level difficulty on the Switch. Using the swing stick on the PS4 on beginner level difficulty is still resulting in me mis-hitting regularly with drives that skip off the tee. No idea what I'm doing wrong. It feels like I'm doing a straight back and forth on the stick but it'll show a rounded downswing. I've calibrated multiple times. I've used swing stick for years going back through a variety of consoles. Any advice?

My wife's parents were Canadian citizens when she was born in the US. She never got a Canadian passport and in the 90s her parents became US citizens. We've long considered living in Canada and the new laws make it seem like it would be relatively easy for her and our kids (12, 18) to gain citizenship. If we decided to make that move how long would it be until I could legally work? We've been married 23 years.
