Any tips for hand-sewing corduroy?
I'm about to start an overshirt hand sewing project (Sew Liberated Slow Shirt). I have some fine-wale corduroy I want to use, but although I've hand-sewn whole garments before, they've always been lighter fabrics like linen and cotton. Of course I've hemmed many garments with heavier fabric, but there's no detail in those. Is there anything I should consider before I start? Specific needles? Specific techniques?
