Recent Root Canal Worry

I had a root canal done 2 days ago not due to an infection or visible crack but I had severe tooth pain in one tooth for the past week, unable to eat or drink on that side. The dentist did a root canal as a precautionary measure. Since having it done I have had no pain at all, but today I noticed a tiny flap of skin on the inside of my gum by where the tooth that has the temporary filling, it feels like something is stuck in it but on closer inspection, I believe it is where she put the needle to numb the area. I then noticed on the opposite side of the gums on the outside the same tooth, I have a mouth ulcer looking thing. Is this normal after a root canal or do I go back to the dentist?
(I will also note that I take medication that gives me dry mouth and | get canker sores whenever 1 get stressed or run down, which I currently am, but I don't get them on my tooth gums very often, usually my cheeks etc)
It doesn't hurt or feel tender, but I'm worried it is now getting infected and I can't tell. I have been brushing my teeth as normal and did run my toothbrush over the gums last night too without noticing it.
Also with a temporary filling, am I allowed to floss/how long should I wait to get a permanent one (it is a premolar I believe)? I have an appointment on the 1st June but I'm worried it's going to fall out before that, as i've never had a temporary one before!
Thank you in advance!
