Like the title says, the assigned SE just didn't show for a 6 AM my time demo (he's in Europe, it was mid-day for him). He messaged me several hours later saying he was sick and he thought he had sent me a message to that effect beffore the demo, but ... (he didn't). He apologized, the SE team lead apologized.... but I'm pissed. and this is a 6-figure deal, this is a very late stage demo, and this is a very bad look. i'm not saying we're going to lose this deal on this basis, but it sure didn't help our case.

I don't know what to do with this. Do I refuse to work with him going forward? Do I go to HR and throw a hissy?
