Would booking a flight from Port Canaveral to Orlando airport at 10:45am be pushing it?

This is coming home. Not sure how we could get off the boat quicker? The next one isn’t until 4:30. I’d hate to wait that long. Especially if there are delays. My kids wouldn’t be able to wait around that long.

Need feedback on this! We’re almost finalized

We’re building this in desert land. Plenty of space surrounding. We want to cater to guests, dirt/desert play, and lots of entertaining! Plan to build a shop with guest house in the near future.

Few changes I’m noting:

  1. Two high windows on the outside wall of master
  2. Patio cover isn’t that big. Meant we wanted a concrete pad that large. Still deciding size of patio cover
  3. Might increase garage door to 18’
  4. No sliding door in Den. Just windows

Any feedback would be great.

We will probably add back patio.
I’d like the front patio a little bigger to offset the depth of the garage.
I think closets have to be deeper.

We’re essentially building this ourselves. We are surrounded by expertise. In laws have heavy equipment. Building with SIP panels. Which is why this floor plan is slightly easier. We might build the left side past the kitchens over time and put our kids in the Den (they are under 2.5 years old)

Any thoughts/advice??

It would be best if they are located from Salt Lake City to up north. We have a vision and need help bringing it to life!
Bonus points if they can also help with the engineering/structural plans

We are in the very early planning stages of our build. My husband did this in Excel because it makes sense to his brain. Our next step is to talk to an engineer or architect. I’m concerned about the garage jetting out too much. We will probably add a front and back porch to make up for that. Total square footage is about 2,200 sq ft. Planning for vaulted ceilings, large windows. I’m not in love with the flow of the mudroom.

This floor plan hasn’t taken into account the wall size. We will need to adjust. Looking for feedback/concerns/alterative suggestions.

Again. Early stages. It’s missing a lot of technical work. Just trying to get something a little more solid before going to an architect.
