Questions about new career in workers comp claims

My daughter graduated from college two years ago and kind of fell into a career that she didn’t plan on and doesn’t like. They wanted her to sign a contract for another year. She didn’t sign, and now she’s jobless and looking for something entirely different. I’m a workers comp nurse case manager, and I know there are always job openings for adjusters. I encouraged her to apply for the trainee program with Gallagher Bassett. She had a great first interview and immediately got a second interview, which she feels went well. She was told that she would hear something in about 2 weeks. It’s now been three weeks since the second interview and nothing. They told her the next training group is not starting until January so I’m thinking maybe they are just not in a hurry. She’s losing hope though and really wants this job. In the meantime, she’s applied for similar trainee programs with Sedgwick and Liberty Mutual and hasn’t gotten any response. She’s so smart and responsible. GB wanted her college GPA and she was an honors student. I can’t understand why she’s having such a difficult time. Does anyone any insight or advice on how she can get started with this career if the GB trainee program doesn’t work out?
