Follow up to my 49pro problem

Yesterday I posted that my plunger came out of the housing whilst I was trying to pull a shot... I thought I'd ask if this is how the inside chamber looks for others? It seems like I could turn the housing a bit to stop it slipping out possibly... Has anyone else done this? Maybe I should email flair directly

Well that was annoying!

I've had the Flair 49 Pro for about a month. Went to pull a shot today and the plunger popped out of its housing. I had to dig out some Allen keys, remove the plunger from the lever arm, and reinstall it before I could make coffee.

Not ideal when you're desperate for a caffeine hit

It seems the pursuit of better coffee has left a rather visible trail of evidence.

My teeth now read like the sedimentary layers of a long and distinguished coffee habit. Has anyone found countermeasures that have proven effective?

Movie suggestions.

The wife and I have started watching movies again once our almost-2-year-old goes to bed on Friday and Saturday nights. Yep, one movie split across two days haha.

I’m looking for some suggestions. Mainly comedy, nothing too heavy. She doesn’t like horror, so that’s out the window...

Time more c2 upgrade

Hi guys, I'm going to step in to the espresso world and I've been thinking about my grinder. I currently have time more c2 (upgraded version from 2021) I have read that I can buy a new base plate that upgrades it further to be able to better dial in for espresso. I was wondering if anyone has used this upgrade, and how well it worked? I'll be spending a fair amount (to me) on the espresso machine of choice so would like delay upgrading the grinder a few months if possible.

Also I have been thinking if I get this base plate should I also consider changing the burrs as well? Thanks for any advice
