Decided to overcome my aversion towards the sun (or at least find something positive about it) during a scorching weekend and i‘m quite excited about some of these. It‘s insanely hard to guess the exposure time if i want the shadows to come in just right though…
Went to water the babies today (38 degrees Celsius announced) and they brought their fledglings to hang out. So while i was sitting there watching them wet their snacks, an off-the-leash dog i hadn’t noticed snuck up on me and i panicked a bit… jumped up to walk away, and the homies attacked it! They were cawing and diving on the poor thing until it hauled ass out of there. I did feel protected though :) The crows don’t mess around if something threatens them and theirs :)
Zero reservations about taking snacks from my hand, what a delight! But the best part was when their fledglings joined for brunch :) I was a bit worried about the babies but it looks like they are happy and thriving.
i have a beautiful smart girl cat and diptyque lilyphea smells just like her. not sure about her brother (pictured) though. fat electrician?

Very stoked tbh… for years my new year’s resolution has been to befriend a crow (or murder.. i mean to befriend a murder not.. commit one) and this year in late February i decided to go for it… after the initial trust was won and a breeding season marked by sporadic hangouts, this month we got a lot closer. These babies will get some cashews tomorrow to celebrate this special ocashewn :D
