Finished up our giant burrowing cockroach enclosure w a viewable burrow section :)
Always love visiting the Caversham zoo, I really appreciate the strong focus on Australian animals over international ones
I've been seeing the Caversham Wildlife Park recommended a lot for people visiting Perth, and I went with my partner for his birthday recently, so I figured I'd chuck some photos up of our trip!
I adore Perth Zoo—probably been like 20 times in the past year 😅—but the intimate layout of the Caversham zoo combined with the strong focus on our native animals really, really wins me over. We have so many underrated animals here that really deserve the spotlight.
The Creature That Crawled Out From the Shed of Our Moulted Friend Billy Bobtail

what are your blue tongue's quirks?
billy's is that he really loves vertically climbing people's torsos to lay on the nape of their neck
billy's growing so fast

edit: forgot to add this, i'm australian and billy's 100% captive born! i wish i knew exactly how old he is, but im fairly sure it was the end of march
