I have this almost 4-year-old surgery scar from a tendon lengthening inside my elbow. It’s red and angry in the middle because I occasionally pick at it/pull the skin off (hello BFRBs). I’m tired of looking at it and I was wondering if I should ask my dermatologist if I can do steroid shots? I’m currently using the celacyn gel she prescribed and it helps a bit but it’s still big.
