I feel like people who say “Absolute Batman has it the worst” only read Absolute Batman and not really the others..

Because Absolute Superman and the current Lanterns all have it pretty terrible, Superman doesn’t catch a break and JUST started bonding with others, so he was suffering alone with an AI built to make him feel comfortable. The current Lanterns and their friends are being hunted down specifically by a billionaire who has taken a few of their friends and experimented on (like Absolute Batman) but on top of that has a planet sized cult-machine on their way to destroy them, on top of a angry alien bird planning on sacrificing others to kill Mogo.. idk Batman seems pretty par for course compared to them

“Logic Laser”

Was re-reading Absolute GL #13 and I just love how the Sacred Laser they use to remove “rebellious” thoughts from the people’s brains is the perfect allegory for people who only think with logic and ZERO empathy for other’s situations or predicaments that put them in that position.
