Used to live in NY where we got snow and always had AWD. Moved to Texas a few years ago and got a FWD Outlander because AWD seemed unnecessary here. Well now my husbands job is sending us up to Indiana for at least the next 8 months, right off of the lake and I'm wondering if my FWD Outlander with snow tires will be okay in the snow or if I should look into trading it in for an AWD again. We will be traveling much more for his job from here on out, so there is now the potential to be in a snowy area for some duration of time every year.
