Have you ever done some ritual/spell not expecting much result and were surprised? Or perhaps the other way, put in a lot of effort in and not much happened?

I myself am not a witch but I did a freezer spell on my very gossipy colleague after putting up with her nonsence for 5 years. I saw it on social media and really wasn't expecting much at all. Well... she fell down and hurt her arm or shoulder, was off work for a while and never bothered me again, I think I spoke to her twice in half a year. It would be a rather strong coincidence I'd say!!

Hey all. Would anyone mind sharing some simple beginner type of protection spells against a specific family member who's not wishing you well, but you're legally tangled up with them due to inheritance? I've tried a freezer spell in the past and that worked well, but I just have a feeling I'll need something more this time. They're older, wiser and have a much stronger presence than me, but they don't mean well. I don't wish them harm, I'm quite sad about it all actually as it's my godmother, but I need to protect myself from their negative intentions or actions as much as I can.
