RSA concerns (orientation and submission)

helloo ! sa upcoming rsa orientation po this week, need po ba na dala na yung accomplished + notarized RSA? planning to accomplish it po kasi after the orientation na 🙂‍↕️

ANDDD also what do they mean na need po na mapasa sa respective colleges yung RSA prior to enrollment? does that mean hindi siya isasama sa envelope and need na mapasa f2f before yung enrollment day?

thank you po sa sasagot! 🙂‍↕️

bs bio or bs pt? 😞

hellooo, need some advice and thoughts about this 🙂‍↕️

i passed upm with my first prog choice — bs pt — and i was very happy and grateful cause i searched na its hard to get into since unti lang kinukuha nila. was very sure that i will be a pt freshie na this school year, not until the dost results came out.

i was secretly hoping na di makapasa kasi atleast mababawasan guilt ko to take up pt + hindi ko rin ineexpect makapasa in the first place since i had no review when i took it and was preoccupied with a regional contest nung time na yun 🥲 but, i passed and got under merit.

i knew from the first place that pt wasn’t included in their prio courses but still put it up cause it was the course that i found very interesting :(

so ayun ! tried for QA last june 5 and this morning, i found out my appeal was successful for bs bio in the same campus and have until tomorrow to decide.

as of now, these are my pros and cons hahahaha

bs bio — pros: no RSA, can avail DOST scholarship, i love science naman so i dont think ill hate it if ever i chose this one, can go immediately to med school; cons: zero to little job opportunities in ph if ever i decide not to continue to med, no license

bs pt — pros: genuinely interested in this program, can somehow see myself in it (but would still like to continue to med after finishing the degree), has license, has a fallback if ever won’t proceed to med (job = can earn for med school); cons: has RSA, have to let go of DOST scholarship, possibility of being burned out to the point that i wont proceed to med, can’t go to med school immediately

right now, i’m 100% sure i wanna go into med after undergrad hahahaha i’m really torn at ilang araw ko na to pinag-iisipan 🫩

will greatly appreciate anyone who will take time to share their thoughts 🫰🏻

p.s. i also consulted my parents and they said they’ll support me in whatever i’ll take naman :( but my thinking is that the dost scholarship would greatly help us kaya di ko rin basta-basta malet go (i will rent pa sa manila + allowances kaya medj malaki expenses every month so the monthly stipend would be such a big help)
