Update: My wife’s Schengen visa was denied … reason: Incomplete Itinerary. We provided the apartment reservation and dates and the air line tickets with dates to match. We were staying 30 minutes outside of Rome close to a beach location. What are they looking for with incomplete itinerary? When we eat sleep and 💩? 100 days wasted. Guess Italy doesn’t need our money! I’m beyond mad 🤬

The visa service used by the Italian Consulate in Moscow reviewed her documentation and said everything was complete. She has emailed the consulate with only a generic reply from them. Asking if anyone has any helpful advice to find out where in the process her visa application might be?

We’re 2 couples traveling to Italy for the first time this September. We’re looking at Lido di Ostia as a place to stay for our trip . Seems it has quite a lot to do and isn’t far outside of Rome. Can anyone share insight into the area and is it worth exploring? Suggestions gladly appreciated.
