Update: My wife’s Schengen visa was denied … reason: Incomplete Itinerary. We provided the apartment reservation and dates and the air line tickets with dates to match. We were staying 30 minutes outside of Rome close to a beach location. What are they looking for with incomplete itinerary? When we eat sleep and 💩? 100 days wasted. Guess Italy doesn’t need our money! I’m beyond mad 🤬

Schengen Visa To Italy

My wife and I have a trip planned for Rome in September. She is a Russian citizen and has been waiting 90 days for an answer about her visa. The visa service used by the Italian Consulate in Moscow reviewed her documentation and said everything was complete. She has emailed the consulate with only a generic reply from them. Asking if anyone has any helpful advice to find out where in the process her visa application might be?

We’re 2 couples traveling to Italy for the first time this September. We’re looking at Lido di Ostia as a place to stay for our trip . Seems it has quite a lot to do and isn’t far outside of Rome. Can anyone share insight into the area and is it worth exploring? Suggestions gladly appreciated.
