You can't be serious 😭 I made a post a couple of weeks ago about how we should condemn doxxing and people who make fun of those who got doxxed, only for the same person to come back on Twitter and shame those who doxxed Ren. This is the SAME person; I won't specify who it is, but I believe most of you already know.
AGAIN what are these double standards??

This post may age badly but;
a.) There's no reason for Ren to use a VPN (as many state) to create an account, what would the benefits be? Jordan isn't strict about Twitter/X whetever you call it.
b.) If there was an internal password breach she'd communicate with her mods/close-friends etc. to announce the deletion of her accounts
c.) Why would her alt accounts be gone as well?

Food for thought: Is anyone else irked by how semi-normalized the theft of a character(s) is regarding Pressure?

Just for clarity, I am NOT against the adjustments of Sebastian’s design/HCs or his usage in personal artwork of your OC. Sebastian has always been to many the main star of Pressure, and by here I don’t want to shun his fans.

What I want to touch on is the glamorization of “theft” regarding Sebastian Solace, absurdity and the hypocrisy that comes with it.

I see no reason as to why even take Sebastian and “adopt him” as your OC if you’re going to change his concept and what he stands for wholly. If you hate the IP that he was based on why not make a seperate OC instead of remaking somebody’s creation?— give it his personality or whatnot, (whatever you love in Sebastian) otherwise it for me just seemed like an action made out of spite.

And the hypocrisy is, that whetever you’d like it or not, Sebastian has become so recognizable that you'd be still giving credits to the IP/being bound to Pressure. There's no “good” way of revamping a character with a standing IP and not being connected to it, just drop the game entirely instead of trying to prance around it.

Allegedly somebody who was a Zeal Supporter (— if anyone knows more context/info about the user then do enlighten me) has been doxxed and sent a pizza to?
I've seen various users saying they deserved it which makes me just sad that the bar (regarding civility during a controversy) is in hell, especially on Twitter.

TO THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN THE ORIGINAL TWEET: PLEASE DO NOT REVEAL THEIR USERS. I CONDEMN HARASSMENT. This is meant to demonstrate the opposite of how we should engage with this situation, especially when it comes to doxxing.

Seriously, if anyone got a spare buck and wants unofficial merch then I recommend checking it out. It's a gold mine and the delivery isn't as expensive as it is on Etsy.

How I see it (in my personal opinion, not to mini-mod) this Reddit should be used to retain constructive criticism, civility during discourse, and thoughts regarding this situation without bringing anyone down due to their sexuality, gender identity, ethnicity, and whatnot.

We shouldn't use this “Safe Space” and opportunity for both parties' supporters to communicate to shun, stalk, or harass Ren as it is
a.) affecting the degradation of her mental state, and possibly pushing her towards an attempt
b.) making a possible court case furthermore complicated as she could counter Zeal’s harassment with her own (Ren’s mental health should be the priority, but I don’t know how else to communicate to some of you that it's NOT OK)
c.) painting neutralists/zeal supporters as assholes, and making a possible onset of a dialogue impossible (”white, cis misogynistic, homophobic men" as they say on Twitter)

Everyone here is brimming with suppressed emotions, and it's understandable in the long run, but these shouldn't be brought out on Ren, or other people as it's just asserting the belief that we’re organizing a Harassment campaign here and waiting until harm comes to her— making every ounce of valid criticism be swept under the rug due to generalization.

Do better than those before us (making remixes out of Zeal’s video, stalking Ren on YT, etc.) and don’t forget to take care of yourselves by taking breaks from the Internet if it means letting out the steam.

Hey, can we agree collectively (whetever side you’re on) that both Ren and Zeal are fucked up individuals according to their behavior as shown in the conversations with others/between themselves?

I’m done with users making out as either being pitch-perfect individuals and that the other person is the devil itself in terms of how they treat others. For example how often Ren inexcusably lashes out at others and blames her BPD for it (which, you’re 22- you cannot excuse shitty behavior with a disorder as much), or Zeal’s treatment of his employees during the possible buyout.
