Apple Watch Can’t Connect App to Machine

I’m new to using the Apple Watch. I just got a new tablet for my old RW900 rower because of the recall. I was told it wouldn’t have ifit 2.0 but it does. Since ordering the tablet I’ve gotten an Apple Watch. I’m now trying to use it with the rower and can’t.

My understanding is the way he connects to the phone app which connects to the tablet. But the app can’t connect to the rower. My phone’s Bluetooth won’t recognize the rower and I’ve made sure the phone and rower are both on the same 2.4 network. What am I missing?

Also when I set up the watch app I did not check wrote to Apple health but when I opened it again a saw that checked for a split second. I’ve read that it causes all kinds of problems but I can’t figure out how to get back to that setting. Every time I open the app on my watch it just says to start a workout. There are no controls.

Services/Features Paid For vs. Included

I did a 36 month lease on a 2024 GT-Line (I'm in the US, Florida). My first EV, and wasn't sure I'd want to keep it or what other options there would be. I am now in love and want it so bad! Of course, it's already worth less than residual, and I've still got 9 months left. I got the "you're eligible for early release from lease if you upgrade to a 2026 Kia" letter, which I'm sure is normal and doesn't really save you anything because ultimately everything needs to be paid for. In any case, at some point I'll need to decide whether to lease or buy a new one, or buy a used one. One thing that was never really clear to me was what features I'm getting for free because they come with the car, vs. what's "free" because they are either included in the lease or included on a new vehicle for a certain number of years. For example:

- I know I have Boost, and I think that's a paid service, but I think it's automatically included on the GT-Line (but is it forever or for a limited time?).

- Kia Connect. I think I'm getting that for free during the lease, but what am I doing now that I can't do if I don't have it? Would I not be able to use my phone to unlock my car? What about sending instructions to the car to turn on climate, lock vehicle, etc? Anything else?

- I don't have hotspot. I know that I had a brief trial before subscription, but just never started the trial.

- Are there any other features/services that I may not know I'm getting for free, that would go away if I either buy an older vehicle or suck it up and buy this vehicle and keep it beyond three years (not that I'd pay the residual, but still)?

- I'm also clueless about warranties. I know the battery warranty is long (10 years?) but there was something that was 5 years and something that was 3 years. I'd look them up, but honestly I don't know what the differences are. Is there a good place to find out what each warranty does and doesn't cover? With all the tech in this vehicle, knowing what is covered for how long might help me decide how old of a vehicle I want, or whether to purchase an extended warranty.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Twinsies!

Attending an event. The very first spot we came across was right next to the only other matte ocean blue I’ve come across. My daughter and I were all giddy to park next to them.
