Hallo allemaal, ik heb wat advies nodig voor een nieuwe bagage-setup.

Ik rijd nu 3 jaar motor en heb twee langere motorcampingtrips gemaakt (elk ongeveer 2 maanden). Tijdens die trips ben ik overgestapt op volledig zachte bagage: een drybag van 26 liter en twee Rhinowalk-zadeltassen van 24 liter.

De Rhinowalk-tassen zelf zijn echt goed voor hun lage prijs, maar het monteren op mijn XT660R met de riemen is een enorm gedoe. Na slechts 2 dagen offroad rijden tijdens mijn eerste trip brak een van de clips en sindsdien moet ik alles met tie-wraps vastmaken. Omdat ik er genoeg van heb om constant te moeten controleren of mijn bagage nog vastzit, wil ik upgraden.

Budgetopties zoals Tusk of Dirtbag zijn helaas niet meer zo betaalbaar na importbelasting zo'n 400/500 euro. Hoewel ik dol ben op mijn Kriega-rugzak, ben ik niet zo enthousiast over hun soft luggage. Ik heb twee opties gevonden die me wat lijken: de Red Koyot U bag 85 (voorheen Red Mamut) en de Mosko Moto Reckless 80. Zie de bijgevoegde foto's.

Red Koyot is een Pools merk dat sinds 2019 bestaat, maar nog niet zo internationaal bekend is. Desondanks ziet hun systeem er erg stevig uit, biedt het veel mogelijkheden om accessoires te bevestigen, heeft het 2 jaar garantie, ziet het er cool uit en is het met 530 euro nog steeds betaalbaar.

Mosko Moto heeft natuurlijk een zeer goede reputatie, ziet er cool uit, heeft levenslange garantie, één gratis reparatie bij een valpartij en 80 liter opbergruimte. Maar dit alles heeft een flink prijskaartje van 950 euro als je de volledige 80 liter wilt in plaats van de 72 liter zonder de extra tassen.

Ik zou best bereid zijn om het geld aan de Mosko uit te geven, maar 950 euro voelt toch als een flink bedrag, gezien de Red Koyot vrijwel hetzelfde systeem biedt voor bijna de helft van de prijs. Ik weet dat de Mosko-installatie waarschijnlijk een hogere tweedehands waarde heeft, maar ik heb het gevoel dat de kans op diefstal ook groter is.

Ik weet echt niet welke ik moet kiezen, maar aangezien mijn volgende reis over twee weken begint, moet ik snel beslissen ;)

Hi Guys, I need some advice for a new luggage setup.

I have been riding for 3 years now and have done two longer motorcamping trips (around 2 months each) during which I switched to full soft luggage, a 26 liter drybag and two 24 liter rhinowalk saddlebags.

The rhinowalk bags themself are really good for their cheap price, but imounting process on my XT660R with the straps a real pain in the ass. After only 2 days riding offroad on my first trip, one of the clips broke and since then I needed to ziptie everything together on every trip. Because I'm fed up with constantly needing to check if my luggage is still attached I want to upgrade.

As I'm in Europe sadly a budget option like Tusk or Dirtbag aren't that budgetfriendly anymore (after import tax around 400/500 euros). Altough I love my Kriega backpack am I not so much in love with their rackless solution. So I have found 2 options which I like, the Red Koyot U bag 85 (previously Red Mamut) and the Mosko Moto Reckless 80. See pics attached

Red Koyot is a Polish brand which has been around since 2019 but doesn't have that much international recognition. That being said, their system looks really sturdy, has a lot of options for attaching accessories, 2 years of warranty, looks cool and is still affordable priced at 530 euros.

Mosko Moto ofcourse has a very good reputation, looks cool, lifetime warranty, one free crash repair and 80 liters of storage. But all of this comes at an expensive price of 950 euros if you want the full 80 liter instead of 72 without the aux bags.

I would be willing to spend the money on mosko, but still 950 feels like a lot if the red koyot seems to be the exact same system at almost 50% the price. I know that the resale value of the mosko system will probably be better as well, but I feel like it's also more likely to be stolen.

I am really at a loss which one to choose, but since my next trip is set to begin in 2 weeks I need to choose quickly ;)
