What a phenomenal gig. My 6th time seeing Billy and the boys live. They’ve truly outdone themselves. A phenomenal evening with phenomenal company. Also made sure to see Fright Years before hand, I sense big things coming for them.
I’ve spent many a fringe here, but I’m already struggling with the busyness and it’s not even hit August yet. I stay further out of the city centre than I have done in previous years, so maybe I’m just not as used to it but if I ever have to go into town it’s enough to send me into a meltdown. And unfortunately for me, I work in the Old Town.
I wish I enjoyed it because my degree is in events and I value live shows and the arts and everything that it’s about. But I find it so hard to partake in as someone who lives and works here.
Anyone else feeling utter dread about the month ahead?
