First Haiver gig?
For those lucky enough to see them live, what was your first gig?
Mine was the Voodoo rooms in Edinburgh on Feb 23rd 2024, where I also got to see the amazing Devin Casson for the first time!

Hey friends. I'm wondering if anyone knows how this will work with the vinyl/cd release. I really want to grab one. Is it going to be available in record stores or only through the haiver website?
I'm in Canada and with shipping to me the record is in the 100$+ category and I just can't swing that.
Via the band's instagram, you can buy prints via the link below:
Hi all! My name is Amy, and I'm a 26 year old music photographer based in the Midlands, England! I'm a new mod!
If you're a fan of The Twilight Sad you may have seen my photos knocking around recently. I shoot a lot of Scottish artists as I have a huge amount of love for them.
Frabbit was my gateway into Scottish music, and I run the discord server too. I love them alongside The Twilight Sad, Arab Strap (who I've also had the pleasure of shooting), Mogwai, We Were Promised Jetpacks, and many more!
I got into Haiver after the band followed me on insta, somehow I'd missed that they'd formed! Looking forward to helping grow this wonderful subreddit!
Hi Everyone!
My names Brennie, I wanted to introduce myself as one of the new Moderators for the r/Haiver subreddit, I’ve followed the band from their beginnings and have been lucky enough to catch them live 5 times across Glasgow, watching them grow as a band!
I’m also looking forward to helping grow this space for all the fans of the band far and wide!
In that fashion I wanted to share some exclusive behind the scenes photos from the filming of the music video of their latest release “Crime”, shared to us by Craig!
enjoy! 🌀
CLOSED FOR NOW! Thank you to those who offered! I hope Haiver’s audience grows so much we’ll be begging for more mods in the future. The band do seem positive about doing an AMA, so that’s something we can hopefully look forward to around the album’s release (I’m thinking the week after the album is released, so people can hear the whole thing and ask questions about the songs etc).
Thank you all for being good eggs. I didn’t doubt it, as I think all of us here are probably big into kindness and recognise the importance of supporting one another, but seriously thank you. So many fan spaces are toxic (have you seen the Heated Rivalry fan spaces?!?!? You couldn’t pay me to mod that horny bunch 😭) and I think Scott left an incredible legacy which is reflected in the Frabbits spaces. Let’s make sure we carry it on 💙🐇 To new beginnings! 🙌🏻
I’m shite at this. So, this is my official call for mods! (I got auto corrected to “kids” then, ffs, last thing I need 😭)
We had some really good news, Haiver got in touch and they are sending us content for this subreddit, so if anyone would like to volunteer here to be a mod, that would be so helpful. Once their album is out and we get more content, HOPEFULLY this place will fill up a little bit and I would appreciate the help, just in case we get any howlers.
My only requirements are that my mods are sweetie pies who want to uphold the kind of energy over on Frightened Rabbit. That we’re a community who are kind to each other (because we’re all going to be sensitive little souls here) and we make sure it’s the kind of place people are welcome and safe at all times.
I even asked the band if they’d like to do an AMA nearer to the album release date, so it would be nice to have at least three mods here for that, to make sure questions are respectful and there’s as little spam as possible. They haven’t confirmed if they’d like to do this yet but I remain optimistic lol.
So, please volunteer! Thank you!
I’m Liz, a new mod! Frightened Rabbit got me through the worst days of my life, and when the first single by Haiver dropped I was sold.
I attempted to get to one of their first gigs in Edinburgh but my husband rear ended another car 1 hour into the 6 hour journey so had to catch them in Glasgow, and in Aberdeen. I met another awesome artist in Aberdeen called Steven Kemp - you should all check him out!
Super excited to add the new album to my record collection, and excited to meet more fan of this awesome band
Haiver posted that Monorail Music are selling Ghost Dance in white vinyl with signed insert card! I’m glad I saw this as was about to order another copy for my dad’s birthday present but now he can have the unsigned one and this is mine 😂
